Korean Beef & Broccoli Bowls (with Yum Yum Sauce)

This meal is one of my favorites to make. Not only is it good, but the flavors will have you thinking you just ordered from a restaurant. Below is a list of ingredients and quick steps for busy moms. I serve this meal with rice and yum yum sauce (store-bought or made from ingredients below).

I found this recipe in the Quick Prep Paleo cookbook. Full of 5-15 minute prep time meals that tastes delicious and saves you time!

Serves: 3–4 | Time: ~20 minutes


Ingredients

Beef & Veggies

1 lb ground beef

2 tsp sesame oil (divided)

2 cloves garlic (minced)

1 red bell pepper (diced)

1 bag broccoli florets

Stir-Fry Sauce

⅓ cup coconut aminos

2 tsp sesame oil

½ tsp fish sauce

1 tsp rice vinegar

½ tsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp garlic powder

Yum Yum Sauce

½ cup mayo

2 tbsp hot sauce

1 tbsp ketchup

1 tsp coconut aminos

½ tsp rice vinegar

Optional: cauliflower rice


Quick Steps

  1. Cook beef in 1 tsp sesame oil → remove
  2. Mix stir-fry sauce
  3. Cook garlic + veggies → add half sauce → cover 3–4 min
  4. Mix yum yum sauce
  5. Add beef back + remaining sauce → heat through
  6. Serve over cauliflower rice + drizzle sauce
